53_Speckrollen Tear and Share

Who doesn’t love a tear-and-share bread for a special meal? This one is a the same bread like our Speckrollen Tree but come in the shape of an oval. Speckrollen are a German take on the classic bacon roll. This enriched yeasted dough is filled with a delicious and endulgent mixture of bacon and onions. Enjoy it just as it is, or pop it into the oven for a few minutes to warm through before serving.

This bread weighs approx 950g.

Ingredients: Wheat flour, water, streaky smoked bacon, onions, lard, egg, salt, nigella seeds, yeast.
